Refined For Purpose is a career and leadership coaching practice founded by Enrico Petersen a coach who spent 18 years in banking and financial services before making his own deliberate career pivot.

During those 18 years, Enrico managed and led branch teams and private banking sales teams at FNB South Africa navigating the daily reality of performance targets, client relationships, team dynamics, and the constant pressure to develop people while delivering results. He knows what it means to lead under pressure, to manage a team through change, and to reach a point in a career where something fundamental needs to shift.

That experience is the foundation of everything Refined For Purpose does.

This is not a practice built on borrowed theory or a coaching qualification alone. It is built on the understanding that comes from having been in the room — as a team leader, as a manager, as a professional who made his own significant transition and came out the other side with a clearer sense of purpose and direction.
